How to for Vendors

  1. Click “Become a Vendor”
This is found in the footer of the website.
  2. Complete the registration form
This is a very basic account form.
  3. Subscribe to the Vendor Plan
Click the radio button next to “Credit or Debit Card,” then click the “Proceed” button that becomes visible.
  4. Pay for your Membership
Enter your payment information and click “Subscribe.”
  5. Confirm your information
Go over everything and make sure it’s correct.  If it is not, please go back to the appropriate form and make the needed changes.
  6. Wait for approval
Debi will be in contact soon to verify that you live in Madison County, Idaho.  After it is verified, you will be approved and able to set up your store.
  1. Fill out the “Store” form
Please make sure your logo file is square.  Other shapes do not read well on the website and may make your store look a bit odd. Most of the form will automatically be filled out with information from when you registered as a vendor.
  2. Skip the “Payment” form
All transactions happen directly between the customer and the vendor, so no monetary information of any kind needs to be filled in.  If we could we would delete these two forms, but we haven’t been able to do that yet.
  3. The “SEO” form is optional
Where this store is for local vendors serving local customers, SEO likely won’t help as well as word of mouth.  If you don’t know what SEO is, don’t worry about it.  Just skip.
  4. The “Social” form is also optional, but recommended
If you have any social presence already, adding your social media information here wouldn’t hurt.  If you don’t, just skip it.
  5. Head to the Dashboard!
Once you have set up your store, you can begin adding products using the dashboard!
  1. Go to your Store Dashboard
If you aren’t already there, log in at “My Account” and click on the button that says, “My Store.”
  2. Click on “Products”
Or you can hover on products and click the “Add New” that pops up.
  3. Choose what type of product
Because purchases are handled in person, just select “catalog” no matter what kind of product you are adding.  This keeps the layout consistent and clear.
  4. Add the product’s title (name) and price
Any specifics can be mentioned later in the description (like if your price is per so many units).
  5. Add a short description
This description will be placed just under the price when a customer views it. Put the most essential information here.
  6. Add a long description
This description will be placed closer to the bottom where more product information can be found.  Feel free to be as wordy as you want here.
  7. Add images
The large image here will be the main (or first) image shown when the product is viewed by the customer.  The smaller image options are great for other detailed shots and are optional.
  8. Assign a category
This is ESSENTIAL for helping the website automatically place your product on the correct page when a customer browses or searches for it.
  9. Assign a sub-category
Click on the green arrow beside the main category you clicked to view sub-categories.  Assigning a sub-category makes the customer finding your product even easier.  If the sub-category you need isn’t there, send Debi a message and she will add the category you need ASAP.
  10. Disable Add to Cart
We do not use a cart on this website, so please remember to scroll to the bottom and make sure the “Disable Add to Cart” option is checked.
  11. Submit!
Remember that you can edit your products at any time.
